Pamela Joy
Swift has helped hundreds of clients and students experience the deeper
self ( the Atman) through private Yoga and Reiki sessions, ongoing yoga
and meditation classes, and experiential yoga and meditation workshops
and retreats.
She provides a safe and
professional atmosphere to help you discover, explore, and heal as
you travel your personal and spiritual path towards self awareness. She
received her yoga teacher training and certification from the Kripalu Institute
of Yoga and Health in Massachusetts.
For 30 years Pamela has taught yoga and meditation in a variety of settings, including Columbia Hospital, Palm Beach County School District, University of Florida, Siddha Meditation Center in Gainesville, FL, Unity Church of the Palm Beaches, and Changing Times Bookstore in WPB, Florida. In January of 2009 she opened Spiritual Oasis Healing and Yoga Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, a divinely inspired sanctuary for spiritual growth. She is also a KYTA member and Yoga Alliance certified. She has also completed the training for the 500 Hour Advanced Teacher certification level at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
She earned a Bachelor's of Arts degreefrom the University of Florida with high honors, and has taught elementary, middle, and high school Special Education students in the public school system for over 30 years. Currently she is the ESE Coordinator/Guidance Counselor at BAK Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, FL. Pamela has been a Palm Beach County resident for 20 years, and owns a beautiful home in historical Flamingo Park.
Her interests also include
the study of metaphysics; she has studied the A Course in Miracles book
extensively, and her favorite books include Be Here Now by Baba Ram Das,
The Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard, True Meditation by Adyashanti
and The Bhagavad Gita.
